Copywriter. Editor. Person behind the words.

A way
with words.

A little wit. A lot of thought. I’m Aaron, and I write copy that helps people understand what they’re looking at and why it matters.

A few things I’ve written

Words, out in the world.

From a playful subject line to a technical detail that needs a little translating.

A little about me

Thoughtful.
With a funny side.

Since 2018, I’ve been a copywriter, based in the DFW metroplex, with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service. A rewarding part of my job includes turning customer-facing content information into a concise, comprehensible, and easily understood display format for the consumer. While maintaining product integrity is of utmost importance, I’m also able to showcase my vast vocabulary by incorporating tasteful wordplay across headlines and bodies of work. Throughout my time at The Exchange, I’ve also served as an assistant program manager for the special emphasis program A.B.L.E. (Able, Believe, Lead, Empower), in which we supported employee management and highlighted the contributions of employees with disabilities.

Helping others matters to me. As a person living with a disability, I want to positively represent my community through the way I work, show up, and treat people. I hope to encourage others, in my community, recognize their own potential and the possibilities they bring to the table.

When I’m off the clock, I let my Miami roots show: I’m an avid Dolphins and Heat fan. I also enjoy video games, cooking, and I’m currently working on a children’s book. With me, there’s always another story in progress.
